Online application for ACCA Approved Employer status
The ACCA Approved Employer programme recognises employers’ high standards of staff training and development, providing formal recognition that an organisation is committed to providing learning and development opportunities to ACCA members and trainees. The following application provides you with the opportunity to apply for the following streams:
Trainee Development - recognises the learning opportunities an organisation provides for employees working towards either the ACCA Qualification or the Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) qualification. If your organisation is approved at Gold or Platinum level, you have the option of allowing your ACCA trainees to apply for an exemption from certain components of their practical experience requirements.
Professional Development - recognises employers who provide learning opportunities for ACCA members to support their Continuing Professional Development (CPD). ACCA members who are employed by an Approved Employer under the Professional Development stream are automatically exempt from having to follow ACCA's CPD Unit Scheme route.
Practising Certificate Development - recognises employers who provide learning opportunities for trainees and members training towards the ACCA practising certificate or the ACCA practising certificate and audit qualification. Under the terms of ACCA’s Global Practising Regulations, it is mandatory for ACCA members to hold an appropriate practising certificate in order to carry out work under ACCA’s definition of public practice, or to be partners or directors of a firm which undertakes public practice.
